Viv's Pics and Video from Meet #3

Below is Vivian's freestyle relay performance. She led the relay with the first leg. If you read our previous post, you know that it was quite a trick to get her to swim the relay after she hurt her foot on a pinecone. You can see her slow down about 1/2 way through. That's when the bandaids came off. You'll also see her check her foot after she gets out of the water. They finished 4th.



After the relay, she said her foot hurt too much to swim again. A bit later, she wanted to go play with the other kids. I told her that she could play if she agreed to swim again. After all, if she's well enough to play, she's well enough to swim, right? She agreed and here are some pictures from her individual freestyle. She is in the middle lane. The girl at the bottom of the picture with the pink goggles won first place. Vivian got second.
