It has been a while since we saw our Austin area Perkins family, so we took the opportunity of the long Labor Day weekend to head their direction for a visit. We spent the afternoon and early evening at the "Urban Family Farm" with John, Darby and Eli in South Austin. Dan and Lisa came down from Leander for dinner and a visit. Most of these pictures were taken that afternoon.
The last time we visited, Eli took a shine to Emma and followed her everywhere. This time it was Vivian's turn. You can see what she thought of that.

Uncle John also got lots of attention. He's so fun! He and Vivian spent a lot of time horsing around with taekwon do. John, of course, doesn't know TKD, so he was just making stuff up. They had a really good time. And at one point all the kids ended up on the floor with John. Good times!

We spent Saturday night and Sunday morning at a hotel. The pool picture was taken Sunday morning at the hotel. I forgot my swimsuit, so I took this lovely picture instead.
We spent the mid-late afternoon back at John and Darby's playing with the chickens and visiting (Viv and Eli karate chopping Cliff's belly) before meeting Dan and Lisa at Matt's El Rancho for dinner to celebrate Viv's 8th birthday.
The kids had a great time getting "tattoos" - Viv got a killer whale on her cheek, Emma got a unicorn on her arm, and Eli got a dragon on his arm. I only got a picture of Viv's whale. Lisa got the unicorn and the dragon, so maybe I can update with her photos later.
