With the power out, Cliff offered the girls ice cream for breakfast. It ended up being vanilla ice cream with bananas, peanut butter and Magic Shell. Chris and I passed on this "breakfast of champions."
Cliff has talked to Clint. They are still getting pounded. They are right inthe path of the storm, so it is pretty bat. Clay is with them until the storm passes Conroe when he will have to report for fireman duties.
Cliff and Emma just got back from a walk down the street. Most of what they could see was tree damage.
Now the girls are taking some nintendo time. We're trying to ration our battery powered items, since we don't know how long we'll be withoutpower. Vivian has already pointed out that there's a dvd player in my car. Last resort, I say.
Still raining and a bit windy, but not too bad. The squirrels are out, so that's a good sign. Hopefully the power is back on today. Forcasters say we're getting a cool front afater the storm, so that should help with the basic comfort level.
