Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?

We started a little container garden this year. We have basil, parsley, bush tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. We have already harvested 25 cherry tomatoes (not counting the ones we ate)and one bush tomato. The basil grows so fast I have to give it away. It has been a fun experiment. We may expand next year, but for now, we're enjoying the "fruits" of our garden.

This picture is our first bush tomato.

I remember doing cherry tomatoes in Houston with Courtney, Dan & Steve. We got the seeds in a cereal box! And in Lafayette, we had cherry tomatoes and bell peppers. Now we have a couple of "volunteer" squash vines in Fort Worth. They had lots of blossoms when we left, but we don't know if any "made." Granddad is going to Texas on Sunday, so he will be able to check on them then. Glad you're doing some dirt-digging! How about flowers?
