Cliff's 40th Birthday

February 7, 1967. An important day in history for those of us who know and love Clifford Matthew Johnson.

February 7, 2007. Cliff turns 40. Cliff spent his birthday in New Orleans, in an airport, in a plane, in another airport, in transit to Washington, DC. A "normal" week when he travels.

February 10th, 6 p.m. Cliff's party.

What a great night! Several of our close friends from church attended as well as family and special friends. Dan and Lisa came in from Austin (thank you!); Clint, Christle, Holly and Josh came from Spring; Cliff's mom, Christine, and youngest brother, Clay, also made it. We also had our good friend, Suzanne Ferguson, come from Washington, DC, as a surprise.

We catered in barbeque from Pa's in Spring (Louetta at Stuebner-Airline, behind HEB). The owner is a friend from church and an amazing cook. Cakes came from Costco and received rave reviews. The chocolate had a chocolate mousse filling. The white cake had a cheesecake mousse filling. The girls added the cars. They thought Daddy would like that!

I brought our high school yearbooks and put together a video of pictures "through the years." We visited, ate, and laughed. Cliff seemed to really enjoy spending time with his favorite people. He missed those of you who could not come!

So, he is now fully feted for his fortieth!

Now, HOW is he going to top that for you when YOU turn 40 in August?
