Studying nouns, we had the sentence "A puppy was in the basket."
The girls had to categorize the nouns as person, place or thing.
Emma Grace asked, "Is 'basket' a place or a thing?" I responded, "Good question. What do you think?"
Her answer was priceless: "To me its a thing. But to a puppy it is a place."
